California public education is facing its worst budgetary crisis in history. GGUSD needs a board member with experience and deliberate leadership to ensure continued academic success. This crisis must not distract the district from its core mission of providing the best possible education to our children.

GGUSD’s testing score has steadily increased every year. More students are prepared to go to college after graduation. After school program has continued to expand despite budget cuts.

GGUSD is not only known for its academic achievement, but also for the collaborative partnership among teachers, employees, parents and community members. Parental involvement, community partnerships and academic excellence will continue to be my priorities during this challenging time.

The district’s wise financial management has allowed its academic programs to continue to succeed without much distraction from the financial woes. With a new bond measure approved by the voters, I’ll make sure that the money be best used to invest in the future of our children.
